The year 2024 is drawing to a close and we can look back on twelve eventful months full of exciting projects. As this eventful year wraps up, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust, your valuable partnership and the great collaboration.

In this last newsletter issue for 2024, we have put together some exciting topics for you: You can look forward to an overview of our new release, ACC V25, which was successfully published in November, as well as a review of our trade fair appearance at SPS 2024.

The new release ACC V25 has been available since November. With this release, we are pleased to present you an even better and more comprehensive version of our alerting software.

You can find an overview of the most important new features of ACC V25 on our → website:

The new functions and improvements include:

  • HTTPS channel and TETRAcontrol channel
  • Steps towards “ACC in the cloud”: modern authentication, tests with the first agents/channels
  • Further improvements:
    • New monitoring tests
    • Optimization of the ACC setup
    • Filtering in the statistics by host name possible
    • Monitoring: Simplified configuration
    • Extension of the REST interface
    • Desigo CC-Agent: Alarm groups can be duplicated in the user interface

Information on the compatibility of ACC V25 can be found in our current → Compatibility list.

Note for contract customers:
Customers with a running upgrade contract will receive ACC V25 by email within the next few weeks. You do not need to do anything else.

Outlook: ACC V25.1

The first service pack for ACC V25 will be available in March 2025. This will include the following new features:

  • Improved compatibility with SQL Server 2022
  • OPC UA agent support for redundant OPC UA servers
  • Extension of the alarm filters: follow-up message filters can be set permanently
  • ACC Control extension: Improved search and filter options

From November 12 to 14, 2024, we were at the SPS - Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg and took the opportunity to present ourselves and our alarm control software Alarm Control Center (ACC) at the joint booth “IT meets Automation”.

A special highlight was the presentation of our latest release, ACC V25.
But that's not all: we were able to show you the Alarm Control Center in all its variety and exchange exciting ideas about its possible applications. The personal contact with you - our customers, interested parties and partners - was the absolute highlight of the trade fair for us.

We had many inspiring conversations, received new feedback and took away some great ideas from the world of automation.

It was simply great to see so many familiar and new faces at our booth. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and, of course, to the organization of the trade fair - everything worked out wonderfully. 
With our three-person team on site and the great support from the Siemens network, we were able to discuss many interesting topics and are already looking forward to continuing the dialog.  

SPS 2025 is already marked in our calendar, and we hope to be able to welcome you in person again next year.
